This website is operated by Verandah Press. These Terms of Service apply when you visit verandahpress.com or purchase from us. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from the site. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Artwork and product information

Verandah Press creates artwork from family stories and remembered places, using modern image-making tools and a human-led revision process. Product photographs and screen images are provided as accurately as possible, but color and texture can vary between screens and printed materials. Small production variations are not defects.

We may update descriptions, prices, availability, or other site content. We may limit quantities, decline an order, or discontinue a product. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.

Orders and payment

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. Acceptance occurs when we begin fulfillment or send a shipping confirmation.

Prices and shipping charges are shown at checkout. Taxes are collected where required. Promotional offers may have separate terms and may be changed or ended at any time, subject to applicable law.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms. Each piece is made to order, so cancellation cannot be guaranteed after production begins.

Intellectual property

The artwork, photographs, text, branding, and other original material on this site belong to Verandah Press or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a print does not transfer copyright or grant the right to reproduce, distribute, train models on, or commercially use the artwork.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the site at an unreasonable rate, or use the site or its content for unlawful purposes.

Third-party services

Shopify and other service providers help us operate the store, process payments, produce orders, and deliver them. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in these terms or required by law. Verandah Press is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless the law requires otherwise. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact form.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
